  Very friendly and helpful staff, I had loved this place for years. The animals seem healthy and loved, and the staff is passionate about what they do. Although they did lead me the wrong route with my bearded dragons, selling two males in a pair and insisting that they would thrive together. I was told that they need a cage-mate because they get lonely. They seemed stressed and aggressive so I followed up with them days later and was told that they were just "play fighting" and that it was okay to continue to keep them together. After doing my own research and to my horror discovered that co-habbing bearded dragons is not only life-threatening, but extremely stressful to the lizards. They have a tank FULL of male dragons all living together and that's super dangerous for their well-being. They're territorial, solitary animals. I'm truly not sure if it was an honest mistake or just a way to get me to spend more money. See, I'm a firm believer in doing your research before you purchase a pet and I went against that this time. I saw the dragons and decided I wanted to love and care for them and took them home that day without prior research. Call it an impulse, and animals should not be impulse purchases. So this was also my mistake and I do not completely blame the staff for my irresponsibility. But I do fear that future bearded dragon owners may be lead the wrong way as most people trust the people they are buying from. Every other aspect of their care was taught to me properly, to cage size, and lighting and feeding needs. I still have them both a year later, but in separate cages. They are very, very loved. Things may have changed from then but learn from my experience and know not to trust just one source and do your research before you bring a new friend home.

  I have been to every reptile store within 50 miles of this location(big chain stores included). I have yet to find the variety of reptiles, reptile knowledge, supplies and outstanding customer service that this establishment has to offer. I highly recommend Pets & Things for first time and veteran reptile owners. Stop in and have a look at what they have to offer. You will definitely be glad you did.

  The staff in this establishment are very knowledgeable about reptiles. I've been to other places similar to this and you'd be surprised with how little the store associates actually know. They offer frozen and fresh kill mice. I prefer fresh kill personally.. you can never be sure with frozen from anywhere.

  Very knowledgeable staff. Helped me pick out the right snake and set-up for my sister. If you're looking for reptiles this is definitely the place to go.
